Water Sealing wood fence or deck
Why you should water seal
Water Sealing helps to prevent many issues from
occurring, while adding to the life expectancy of your fence or deck. Our goal is to make your fence or deck last; not only by proper building, but also maintaining. Any wood that is left exposed to the outdoor elements will cup, crack, and warp within the first year or so if it is not properly protected. It is nature's job is to break down all materials that are no longer alive, and the lumber used to build your deck or fence is not excluded from nature's list of chores.When should I water seal?
A water test is the easiest way to ensure that the wood can absorb a water sealing or finish. Sprinkle water on the deck. If it is newly constructed and soaks in immediately, the deck can be sealed. If the water beads up on a previously sealed fence or deck, it may not need water sealing yet.
