"The Charlestonian" is a new design for this year. This wood privacy fence is a spin on the Charleston Trimtop Fence design. Excellent choice as a garden fence, it offers privacy and aesthetic beauty on the interior. We offer many styling options to make yours a unique customized fence.Origins of Fence Design
This project in progress is a removal and installation. Our fence company owner actually had the blueprints drawn for this fence design at the time of estimate, in the homeowners kitchen. The fence's gate design would be determined later.
Fence Project Begins
On the first day we removed an old chain link fence and set our posts. We were unable to take any before photos that we were hoping for, due to heavy rain in the area. We will be back after giving the fence posts some time to cure.
Unfortunately, due to rain, we gave a little more time than expected. We did get the runners up and fence boards attached on Day 2. On Day 3 we got our finishing boards and trim work completed.
Garden Fence
Advent Fence Company was very impressed with the peaceful serene atmosphere this yard provided, which was one of the inspirations for the fence design. We wanted to give a very clean-cut looking fence, without being over-the-top.
Fence Gates
We didn't want to fall short for the fence gate, so our fence company owner took some extra time on the designs. The finalized design was completed the night before building. The fence company owner had been toying with a new gate design, we are not building those here. The gates we will be building are basically a spin on those gate designs, but a more challenging design. Ideally, we would have liked to practice this style on the more simple design of the original gate concept. It also would have been nice for the first to have been a single gate........they say trial by fire is the best training.
