Alternate Board Fences
Shadow-box, Alternate Board, "neighbor friendly" privacy fence
The Alternate-Board Fences are also known as the Shadow-Box fence and less commonly, Friendly-Neighbor Fence. With this privacy fence design, the fence boards are spaced on one side of the runners, and evenly spaced to overlap spaces on the alternate side or interior of the fence. Both sides of the fence look identical, hence the name "friendly-neighbor fence". We have many design based on this fencing style that have yet to be built.
